The Romanian Lifestyle Center Herghelia is a non-profit, organized in 1994. Its first guests arrived in 1996. The Center was created to raise the level of physical, mental social and spiritual health in Romania, through professional health treatment and prevention education. Herghelia\u2019s services are in accordance with the latest medical science while maintaining a Christian spirit. The doctors, nurses and therapists have been trained in Lifestyle Centers from Norway to the USA.<\/p>

Over 10,000 health guests have passed through the Center\u2019s doors and have taken advantage of programs such as: hydrotherapy procedures, massage, dry and humid sauna, jacuzzi, supervised physical exercise, medical consultation and biochemical tests, medical lectures, antistress programs, family counseling etc.<\/p>

Herghelia offers rehabilitation services for today\u2019s chronic habits and diseases such as: cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis, stress-based diseases, stop smoking program, weight control, primary medical assistance and individual nutritional counseling. Nutrition and diet are taught and provided to everyone as part of their treatment.<\/p>

The Center serves up to 50 guests offering them the comfort of a resort. Its campus is located in a splendid natural setting of rolling hills, beautiful forests, and singing birds. Delicious vegetarian food is served in an enjoyable and cozy dining hall with indoor and outdoor seating, offering sweeping views of the fields and hills.<\/p>
